Who We Are
We are a family-run retriever breeding program built on a deep passion for producing exceptional Labradors and Golden Retrievers. Our focus is on performance, athleticism, stable temperaments, and lifelong companionship—while actively working to reduce common breed health issues through comprehensive medical screening, DNA testing, and responsible breeding practices.
Our philosophy is simple: we breed only high-quality, driven, healthy, and highly trainable dogs. Every pairing is carefully researched and intentionally planned to strengthen and preserve the Labrador and Golden Retriever breeds. Temperament, health, and working ability are always our top priorities. All puppies are placed with a written contract and health guarantee for peace of mind.
We are a very small, hands-on program consisting of our own dogs and our grown daughter’s Golden Retriever, whom she co-owns with her breeder. All of our dogs come from proven field or working pedigrees and are capable of excelling in performance sports, hunting venues, and active companion homes. Above all, they are bred to be loyal, devoted family members.
We have been dedicated to quality working lines since the early 2000s, with a brief pause when life called us from Missouri to Williamsburg, Virginia to care for our parents. That time away only strengthened our commitment to doing things the right way and returning with renewed purpose.
Through years of research and experience, we have successfully whelped and raised multiple litters of performance Labradors and Goldens. Many of our puppies are titled—or actively working toward titles—in hunt tests, field trials, and other working dog venues across the country, with future plans including SRS events. We are well-versed in the breeding and raising process and are proud of the dogs we have placed.
Our puppies are raised right in our home—truly hand-raised, never kennel-raised. They receive constant human interaction, daily handling, and individualized care from the moment they are born. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) begins shortly after birth, followed by extensive socialization and enrichment. As they grow, puppies are introduced to birds, water, children, cats, new surfaces, motion boards, adventure boxes, car rides, household sounds, gunfire, and more. This intentional exposure builds confident, adaptable, and well-rounded dogs.
We take great pride in the time and effort invested in our puppies. Raising them properly is a true 24/7 commitment and a family effort. At around five weeks of age, weather permitting, our puppies begin outdoor adventures in a dedicated play area designed to encourage exploration and confidence.
All health testing, DNA results, and OFA clearances are transparently listed on each litter’s page. We invite you to explore our site using the navigation buttons and reach out with any questions. And yes—enjoy the overload of cuteness along the way!
