A pedigreed dog purchase is a big decision and a big investment, and it is perfectly understandble that you have questions. We have tried to incorporate here our most asked questions to try and help answer those before our first interaction.

  • Item A. We look at the pedigrees and titles by both the Dam and the Sire. We maintain the same price for female and male puppies. We are very competitive in our pricing, even on the lower end of comparable litters. We do not breed for the profit, when we have a litter of puppies the sire is carefully considered to improve on the breed. There is a very long research process leading up to each litter. But the typical range is .

  • A. No. We are trying to improve and only breed for the betterment of the breeds, we do not engage in dilution or mixing of any breeds. 

  • A. Yes and no. The puppy will come with limited registration from the beginning. If interested in full registration, it can be granted ONLY after all OFA breed recommended clearances and all DNA health testing have been done. This will take place at two years of age, per OFA guidelines.

  • A. We normally allow visitation to begin at about 4 weeks of age.

  • A. Yes, all puppies will be up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations and on a deworming schedule at the time of pick up. You will be responsible for continuance of this regimen with instruction from your vet.

  • All of our puppies stay with us until they’re 8 weeks old. State law says they can leave the mothers at 7 weeks old but they learn a lot of very crucial things from their mother and siblings that are non-negotiable in terms of development.

  • A. At a minimum you will need: food and water dishes, a collar and leash, a harness, a kennel to keep them in when they are left home alone, toys - stuffed and hard chew toys, a bed or puppy specific blanket, and a high quality large breed puppy food. .

  • A. We feed and recommend Country Vet Naturals brand. Other high quality options include: Purina Pro Plan, Inukshuk, Dog Fuel, Eukanuba, and Kinetic.
